WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT
VISUALIZATION AND REPORTING
The SCADA WinCC Unified system allows operators
to monitor in real-time:
the operation of pumps, blowers, separators, and other process equipment,
flow parameters, levels, pressures, and wastewater quality,
alarms, event history, and process trends.
Thanks to web technology, visualization is accessible from browsers on computers, tablets, and operator panels. Technological data is archived, and the system generates daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
PREFABRICATION AND INSTALLATION OF SYSTEMS
As part of the implementation, the following activities were completed:
Preparation of executive and as-built documentation
Prefabrication of control cabinets and switchboards
Installation and labeling of the electrical system
Commissioning and testing of the complete system
Integration of communication protocols and external devices
Particular emphasis was placed on installation ergonomics, clear and structured wiring, and the possibility of easy future system expansion.
USED TECHNOLOGIES
The project utilized proven and efficient industrial automation solutions from Siemens, including:
ET200SP CPU – as the main control unit and distributed I/O stations,
SCADA WinCC Unified – a modern, web-based visualization platform allowing access from multiple devices,
SINAMICS G120C – compact inverters for control and monitoring of drives in the installation.
SCOPE OF WORK
The goal of the project was to create a reliable, centralized system that enables:
full control over wastewater treatment processes,
integration of technological devices from various suppliers,
provision of uniform visualization of all areas of the process,
archiving of technological data and generating reports,
access to the system based on modern web technologies.
In total, programmed over 300 devices, including both actuator elements and drive systems, sensors, and communication modules.
IMPLEMENTATION OF AN AUTOMATION PROJECT FOR A NEW FRUIT PROCESSING PLANT
As part of the project, we implemented a comprehensive automation and visualization system for the newly established fruit processing plant, encompassing full control and oversight of the process wastewater treatment plant. The work covered all stages—from conception and design, through the prefabrication of control cabinets, to the commissioning and integration of equipment supplied by various manufacturers.
