EFFECT OF IMPLEMENTATION

 

  • Fully automated internal logistics system based on AGV vehicles

  • Complete traceability and control of rubber material flow

  • Reduction of manual handling and minimization of operator error risk

Description of the installation

 

The installation consisted of:

  • a rubber transport line,

  • docking stations for mobile silos,

  • a rubber distribution line to packing lines.

 

The system was responsible for the full coordination of silo movement and managing process information, including:

  • issuing commands to AGV carts to position the appropriate silos at specific stations,

  • storing and updating data about the product in the silos,

  • identifying silos based on RFID tags,

  • automated and secure docking of mobile silos.

Scope of work

 

As part of the project, the following was carried out:

  • design of the automation and control logic system for the installation,

  • installation of control cabinets and distributed I/O points,

  • programming of PLC controllers and safety system,

  • creation of operator visualization,

  • integration of the control system with AGV carts and the RFID system,

  • functional testing and commissioning of the installation.

Scope of the project

 

The project involved the comprehensive design, installation, and programming of an automated system for the reception, storage, and distribution of rubber using autonomous AGV carts. The goal was to streamline internal logistics, increase process repeatability, and ensure full traceability of the product at every stage of the flow.
