VISUALIZATION AND REPORTING

The WinCC Unified SCADA system enables operators to monitor in real time:

  • operation of pumps, blowers, separators, and other process equipment,

  • flow, level, pressure, and wastewater quality parameters,

  • alarms, event history, and process trends.

 

Thanks to web-based technology, the visualization is accessible via a web browser on computers, tablets, and operator panels. Technological data is archived, and the system generates daily, weekly, and monthly reports.

PREFABRICATION AND INSTALLATION

As part of the project, we delivered:

  • detailed design and as-built documentation,

  • prefabrication of control cabinets and switchboards,

  • installation and labeling of electrical wiring,

  • commissioning and testing of the complete system,

  • integration of communication protocols and external devices.

 

Special emphasis was placed on installation ergonomics, clear cable routing, and the possibility of easy future expansion.

USED TECHNOLOGIES

The project employed proven and efficient industrial automation solutions from Siemens, including:

  • ET200SP CPU – used as the main control unit and for distributed I/O stations,

  • WinCC Unified SCADA – a modern, web-based visualization platform enabling access from multiple devices,

  • SINAMICS G120C – compact frequency inverters for drive control and monitoring within the installation.

SCOPE OF WORK AND KEY ASSUMPTIONS

The objective of the project was to create a reliable, centralized system enabling:

  • full control of wastewater treatment processes,

  • integration of technological equipment from multiple suppliers,

  • a unified visualization of all process areas,

  • archiving of technological data and generation of reports,

  • system access based on modern web technologies.

 

In total, more than 300 devices were programmed, including actuators, drive systems, sensors, and communication modules.

IMPLEMENTATION OF AN AUTOMATION PROJECT FOR A NEW FRUIT PROCESSING PLANT

As part of the project, we delivered a comprehensive automation and visualization system for a newly built fruit processing plant, including full control and monitoring of the process wastewater treatment plant. The scope of work covered all stages — from concept development and system design, through control cabinet prefabrication, to commissioning and integration of equipment supplied by multiple manufacturers.
