INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING

COMMISSIONING AND SYSTEM TESTING

After installation is completed, the system is commissioned. This stage includes:

  • Verification of connections – checking compliance with the documentation and verifying circuit continuity.

  • Control software configuration – downloading/uploading PLC programs, configuring communication interfaces, calibrating sensors, and setting drive operating parameters.

  • Functional testing – confirming that the system responds according to the defined control sequences, safety logic, and I/O signals.

  • Run tests and load testing – simulating or performing real production operating conditions.

PRECISION IN ASSEMBLY, CONFIDENCE IN OPERATION

INSTALLATION OF AUTOMATION SYSTEMS

It encompasses mechanical, electrical, and low-voltage (ELV) tasks, including:

  • Setting up control cabinets, HMI operator panels, and field devices/actuators.

  • Installing cable trays and conduits, routing cables, and pulling signal, power, and communication cables.

  • Connecting and terminating peripheral devices such as sensors, transmitters, drives, and actuators.

  • Identifying and labeling cables and components per the technical documentation.

The installation and commissioning of industrial automation systems represent a crucial phase in the execution of a technical solution, significantly impacting its reliability, safety, and operational effectiveness. This procedure encompasses not only the physical setup of system components but also software configuration, device parameterization, and testing to ensure proper functionality.
